Dr. Chuen-Yo Hsiow

Chuen-Yo Hsiow joined the Atwater group as a visiting scholar in JCAP from Feb. 2016. During his PhD (Institute of Polymer Science and Engineering, NTU, 2014.11) and postdoc researcher (department of Chemical Engineering, NTU, 2015) in Taiwan, his research started the development of synthetic methodology, synthesis of organic conjugated molecules and macromolecules, and the application in organic photovoltaics. At Caltech, his research interests focus on the investigation of carbon materials, such as graphene and graphene oxide, hybrid with sensitizers as photocatalysts for renewable solar fuels through photocatalytic CO₂ conversion.
