Information for prospective postdocs, graduate students, and undergrads who are interested in joining the Atwater Group
Postdoctoral Inquiries
The Atwater Group welcomes requests from new and existing postdoctoral scholars looking to join our team. Space is often extremely limited, so we ask that applicants send their resumes, cover letters and list of three references (names and contact info) to Harry Atwater (haa@caltech.edu) and Thomasine Murphy (tvmurphy@caltech.edu). We will contact you if a position opens up.
Graduate Students
Interested graduate students looking to join the Atwater Group must first be enrolled or accepted into a Caltech PhD program. For more information about the application process, please visit the Graduate Studies Office website. If you meet this requirement, please send an email to Harry Atwater (haa@caltech.edu) and Thomasine Murphy (tvmurphy@caltech.edu).
Undergraduate Students
Each summer we offer undergrads the chance to work in our labs via Caltech’s Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship program. Please check out the SURF website first before contacting us. If you are interested in pursuing a SURF position within our labs, please send your resume and cover letter to Harry Atwater (haa@caltech.edu) and Thomasine Murphy (tvmurphy@caltech.edu).
