Dr. Aisulu Aitbekova is a KNI Postdoctoral Fellow in the Atwater Group. She did her Ph.D. at Stanford University, where she was advised by Assistant Professor Matteo Cargnello. Her graduate research focused on carbon dioxide conversion into fuel and chemicals using nanomaterials. She obtained her M.S. (2016) in Chemical Engineering Practice from MIT and B.S. (2015) in Chemical Engineering from Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan. Aisulu is committed to mentoring and STEM outreach.
