Ellis has a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of California Berkeley (graduated May 2022). At Berkeley she worked in the Al Balushi group on the synthesis of semiconducting thin film materials. Ellis joined the Atwater group as a first year PhD student in Materials Science in the fall of 2022. In her free time Ellis enjoys music, ballet, and exploring new places.
