Kelly is a Materials Science PhD student who joined the Atwater group in September 2017. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2017 with B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics. Her research interests are in developing highly efficient and commercially viable photovoltaic devices, and she has previous experience with CIGS nanocrystals, antireflective and superhydrophobic coatings for solar cells, and the design and fabrication of InGaN solar cells. She is supported by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. In her free time, Kelly enjoys singing in choirs and woodworking.
