Dr. Xueqian (Lucy) Li

Alumni - Industry and Private Sector

Photocatalysis, Plasmonics

Xueqian (Lucy) Li joined the Atwater group as a KNI Prize Postdoctoral Fellow in October 2019. Lucy received her B.S. in Chemistry from New York University in 2014 and her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Duke University in 2019. Her dissertation research focused on investigating thermal and nonthermal effects in plasmonic photocatalysis. At Caltech, her research interests involved the development of plasmonic photocatalysts for selective CO2 reduction and a mechanistic understanding of the role of light. In her free time, Lucy enjoys making crepe paper flowers, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.
