Stefan received his PhD in Materials Science in 2018. His research interests include solar photovoltaics and solar fuels. He has investigated the fundamental charge transport in emerging photovoltaic materials and his current research focuses on developing high efficiency, earth-abundant tandem solar cells. He received a B.S. in Engineering Science and a B.S. in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the Pennsylvania State University. He is currently working for Apple.
