Congratulations to Dr. Dennis Callahan on his successful thesis defense!

The 2014 Julius Springer Prize for Applied Physics is awarded to Harry Atwater and his longtime collaborator Albert Polman. They will receive this honor on Monday, September 1st, at the Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam for their pioneering achievements in plasmonics and novel nanophotonic routes to ultrahigh-efficiency solar energy conversion. Professor Atwater was featured in an article on Real Business, a digital magazine sponsored by Xerox, which explores innovative ideas across multiple channels, including transportation, customer care, healthcare, human resources, among other areas.
